Carrying on from my 【Taiwan】Day 1 of 6 @ Taipei 2013 ✈️ let’s begin with my Day 2 @ Taiwan! 😊
Taipei → Yilan
I had a very large breakfast at the hotel, as it offered a wide range of food.
After breakfast we actually booked a taxi for 10am-3pm for NT$3000 (~79) as we were planning to go to Yilan (宜蘭) for the day.
The first place we went to was Nanfangao Fishing Port (南方澳) and visited the Mazu Temple (媽祖廟), where Mazu (媽祖), the goddess of the sea protects fishermen and sailors.
After having a look around the place, we then went to Yilan i-Cake Museum (宜蘭餅發明館) in Su’ao (蘇澳).

As we were driving past along the road, we saw a restaurant called 火山爆發雞 (literal translation is Volcanic Eruption Chicken😂😂😂😂) and decided to have our lunch there with the driver.
👍As the restaurant is called Volcanic Eruption Chicken, we must try out their chicken👍

Afterwards we carried on driving towards Shenkeng Old Street (深坑老街) where we had a look around, but because we only booked the taxi til 3pm we didn’t really have much time left before heading back to the hotel.
We had a small rest in the hotel, before heading back out again. This time we mainly walked around Taipei and did a bit of shopping too! Including from STAGE and Jump From Paper!
For those who may be familiar with Taiwanese singer Show Lo 羅志祥 then you might be have heard about his own fashion brand STAGE
🏠Address: No.1, Lane 35, Lane 181, Zhongxiao East Road, Da’an District, Taipei City
🕐Opening Hours: 13:30~22:00
JUMP FROM PAPER
Back then I went to their shop in Eslite 24 Hour Bookstore, however I’m not sure whether they still have a store there. For more information about their locations, you can visit their website: Jump From Paper Taiwan
We had dinner at a restaurant called多多魯肉飯 near Zhongxiao Fuxing Station (忠孝復興站) and the special thing about this restaurant is that the place is actually pretty small, however I remember clearly that it had this really big chandelier hanging from the ceiling. It may seem a bit out of place, but it does leave a very strong impression!

That’s all for my Day 2 of 6 @ Taiwan!
