Yup, that’s right. You can actually see them even if you are in UK. Here are some of the places that have a good chance of seeing the Northern lights:
The Scottish Highlands are on the same latitude as Norway’s Scavenger and Alaska’s Nunivak Islands, which meant that there is a chance of getting a glimpse of the northern lights!

Popular locations include Aberdeenshire, Moray Coast, Cairngorm mountains and Galloway Forest Park.
Located in Northwest England, the Lake District is a popular holiday destination and hotspot for capturing the northern lights.
You can go to Kielder Water and Forest Park around March or Berwick-on-Tweed around September to watch the northern lights.
South West England
Even though the chances maybe a bit slim, but that doesn’t mean you won’t be able to see it.
