【South Korea】Must Eat! My Recommended Restaurants you must go and visit! 🇰🇷

So Miss Wai Ting had the chance to go and visit Seoul for the first time back in 2015. And there are a few restaurants that are worth going back to again, simply because it was SO. GOOD 😍😋😍😋

Read on to find out which restaurants made it into Miss Wai Ting’s list!

1. Fukuoka hambageu (후쿠오카함바그)😋😋😋😋😋*

*Rating out of 5

Now you might think: “that’s so exaggerated, what’s so special about a hamburger?”

Well let me tell you this is the best burger I have ever eaten😂

Because a bunch of people just left, and so they didn’t have enough time to clear the table, which was why we were given the table right by the door.

Sorry, Miss Wai Ting forgot to take a pic of the menu

Even though it’s written in korean, but the images are easy enough to understand.

Leave the meat on the stone for around 3 mins, then flip over. And let the staff know if you want to change the stone. Also make sure you don’t touch it because it can be VERY hot. 😉

Maybe because we ordered a lot of food, and so the table soon became very crowded, and we had to move all the sauces and our drink to the side. Their bowels are quite big too~

The small chimneys from the table are actually there to suck all the smoke coming from the stone. See images below.

👆Miss Wai Ting ordered the Egg, Cheese and Garlic burger 😋😋😋 , Pasta Salad and Beef Bibimbap

We didn’t realised that the salad and bibimbap was going to be such a large portion🙈

If I was to choose between the salad and bibimbap, I would go for the latter. Simply because there isn’t much special about the salad. 😂😂

*Note: It get’s really busy during lunch hour, so if you don’t want to wait, then you can call them for a reservation. If not, then you’ll have to wait outside (which is what Miss Wai Ting did🙈)

There location is quite hidden, so look out for Coffee 101 or the sign 798.

2. Palsaik Samgyeopsal (팔색삼겹살)😋😋😋😋½

Miss Wai Ting came here quite early and so there was only two other tables of customers. The seafood stew came with the order… from the pic it looks like an ordinary seafood stew, but after it started boiling, the whole soup turned RED! 😱😱😱😱 Turns out it was a spicy seafood stew😓😓

So ‘Palsaik’ means 8 colours in korean, and here there are pork marinated in 8 different flavours: Ginseng, (Red)Wine, Pine leaves, Garlic, Herb, Curry, Miso Paste and Hot.

They also have 8 different colour business cards, each have a different flavour and their health benefits. 😂 And yes, I took all of their 8 different business cards.

Miss Wai Ting came here for lunch before walking over to the Ihwa Mural Village as it is really close by (approx. 15min walk).

🏠Address: 서울시 종로구 동숭동 1-65 (1-65  Dongsung-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul)

3.  HaHa’s Loco Quan 401 Restaurant (하하401레스토랑)😋😋😋😋

You may probably know that this restaurant is opened by Running Man/Infinity Challenge HaHa (any Running Man or Infinity Challenge fans?🙋🙋), Miss Wai Ting went to the one in Myeongdong, he also have another one in Hongdae.

I have mentioned his restaurant before in one of my Running Man posts. Click on the link below to read my Running Man post👇

Danbo is just patiently waiting for the meat to cook…

The pork they use are from Jeju-do’s black pig which has a nutty taste. (To me it tastes the same 🙈)

This is perfect during the hot summer

There is a photo zone right outside the restaurant when you come out of the elevator.

4. James Cheese Back Ribs (제임스치즈등갈비)😋😋😋😋½

For those who are a fan of cheese then you must go and try. For those who are not a fan, you should still go and try it out 😂

There are several different cheese, and the one on the left is egg.

We were their first customers and so there was literally no one else. But maybe because we were so early (around 12pm) so the staffs were having their lunch too🙈🙈

They also provide plastic gloves for you, so you can just eat with your hands without eating messily.

Also, their stools are the ones where you can lift off the top and place your belongings in them.

I felt a bit bad for interrupting them from having lunch, however they should have their lunch before opening the restaurant  🙈😂

Apart from the cheese ribs, there are also fried rice! The staff would wait til you finish the ribs, and then help you stir fry the rice. The rice is sooo good!
