【Taiwan】Why you should get an EasyCard (悠遊卡) when travelling to Taiwan 🇹🇼

Similar to the Octopus card in Hong Kong, this is something worth considering if you are staying in Taipei.

Basically, with this card you can use it to take the MRT or bus. You can also use it as another payment method in convenience stores too.

Adult Student Concessionaire

You can buy one from any MRT station or convenience stores (e.g. 7-Eleven, Family Mart, Hi-Life, OK)

Adult and Concessionaire card cost NT$100($100 deposit) which is around £2.60.  The card can be returned for a refund of the deposit and balance of the disposable value.

Miss Wai Ting actually picked hers up from the Taiwan Tourism Bureau in Hong Kong, and she topped up her card when she got to Taipei.
